How do I get started with the Medium Integration with LongShot

Getting started with Medium Integration with LongShot

LongShot <> Medium Setup Documentation

💡
For starters, you will need a paid LongShot plan to access the Medium org Integration, without which the integration functionalities will fail.

Check the video below to help you get started.

OR, if you wish, you can also follow the instructions below or watch the video at the end to set up and use the LongShot Medium integration.

Step 1: Inside the LongShot app, visit the Integration section inside the account setting. Click here to go to the integrations page.

Step 2: Next, scroll down and Connect your LongShot app with your Medium CMS. Upon clicking, you'll find a mandatory field that needs to be filled in:

  1. Integration Token

Step 3: To get the Integration Token, head over to your Medium CMS. Inside settings, click on Security and Apps. On this page, scroll down to find Integration Token. Click on the Integrations Token and input its description. Then click on Get Token. Copy the generated token.

Step 4: Next, paste this Token inside your LongShot Medium Integration box (as mentioned in step 2) to complete the integration.

Step 5: Once the connection is successful, you'll get a prompt from AI. You can now easily export blogs to your Medium CMS with a button’s click. Simply open that LongShot blog editor and click on the share button. Once you click the share button, you'll find the Export to Medium option. Your blog will be posted inside your Medium CMS as a new draft.
